MIEACT educates the Canberra community about mental illness. We aim to reduce stigma and discrimination, improve knowledge, and to raise awareness about the importance of getting help early.

Through our school and community education programs, our websites, theatre projects, radio show, art and digital media projects, we communicate first person stories and facts to the wider community to promote understanding of what it is like to live with mental illness.
